COMMUNITY ENGANEMENT
Reimagine Saint Rose Open House on
Thursday, September 25 from 4-7pm at Lally Education Building (1009 Madison Ave in Albany).
This is an opportunity to drop in anytime and participate, share thoughts and ideas, and hear what they are learning about the existing building conditions on the campus and a market analysis that will inform reuse of the campus.
You can also share your thoughts and ideas on the project website at www.ReimagineSaintRose.com. Make sure to take the Community Survey, share thoughts by email, and attend other upcoming outreach events. Add your thoughts about specific buildings on the Interactive Map Survey.
Don't forget to sign and share the Our Community Re-Imagines Saint Rose petition. We are asking the Albany County Pine Hills Land Authority to hold off on all property sales until after the planning process is complete and the report submitted. We need to get to 500 signatures by October 5th.
Finally, save the date for the Upper Madison Street Fair on Sunday, September 28th from 12-5pm on Madison Ave between West Lawrence and South Allen Streets. Both PHNA and the Reimagine Saint Rose Planning Team will have tables at the Fair.

As IZ
Izzy Singer (As Iz) is a musician/songwriter based in Upstate, NY. He has been composing since the mid 1980’s and performs folk/rock originals and covers as a “One Man Band.”

Swing Docs
Cure the blues or whatever’s ailing you with music from The Swing Docs These talented musicians have the prescription for entertainment as they deliver a dose of big band, swing, Latin, and rock. Make no bones about it — this group has thrilled audiences at some of the Capital District’s top venues and events. This concert will be held in the Elks ballroom. Dancing is encouraged – beginners, kids, and non-dancers welcome!

Bear Bones Project
Local Grateful Dead style jam band with deep roots in American rock.

July 21 Gadjo
Gypsy/Swing band playing tunes from the American Songbook of the 1930’s 40’s and 50’s in the infectious style of Django Reinhardt, and Stephane Grappelli. Songs by Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, George Shearing, Harold Arlen, Sidney Bechet, and many others, will provide a glimpse into the musical tastes of previous generations, while inspiring modern listeners of all ages to dance, sing, smile, tap their feet, and clap their hands.
